This March, Marinduque Is in the Heart finds its way to the Philippine Book Festival 2025, bringing home to the page—its rivers, its myths, its wounds, and stories of resilience and perseverance.

What is the Philippine Book Festival?

The Philippine Book Festival (PBF) 2025 is a book fair focused on it’s celebration of Filipino literature, culture, and creativity. Taking place from March 13 to 16 at Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall, this event is the first major book gathering of the year, running from 10 AM to 8 PM daily.

Unlike other book fairs such as MIBF (Manila International Book Fair) and Big Bad Wolf, PBF is the only large-scale literary event dedicated entirely to Filipino authors, artists, and publishers. Readers can browse books from some of the country’s biggest publishers, join author meet-and-greets, participate in literary discussions, and explore four themed zones:

📚 Booktopia – Fiction and non-fiction for every kind of reader
📖 Aral Aklat – Educational books and resources
🎨 Komiks – Everything about Filipino comics and graphic novels
👶 Kid Lit – A space for young readers and children’s books
