Today is the 14th Birthday of my 1st born son.

On his first 5 years, my son was very bright, happy, and very energetic. He’s very affectionate. He’s a performer, willing to dance or sing anytime even with big groups of people.

At school, he was very intelligent. Then he began to grow up and then I had all sorts of problems. He became unruly, talks back to teachers, refuses to comply with directions. It became such a problem that we decided to pull him out of school and just homeschool him.

Homeschool is a daily battle on getting him to do his work. He’d rush through all his studies and spend the rest of the day drawing and watching Youtube Top 10 of anything and “tuts”. Which is not a problem since were actually on a child led curriculum and he is building his art portfolio.

It pains me though that he’s not paying attention to math when he’s actually very good at it! At 14 years old his level of math is at 4th year high school. And sciences! He loves drawing the human body so much that he actually mastered the parts of the body down to the intimate details.
