Why Do You Need a Water Purifier?

Water is an essential natural resource that every person needs to survive. However, clean drinking water can be hard to come by in most areas of the Philippines. Specially on rural areas, many people have to rely on water from rivers, streams, and other sources for their drinking water. Unfortunately, these bodies of water are often contaminated with harmful microorganisms and germs that can lead to various diseases if consumed regularly or in large amounts. In our community, water comes from a spring. It is said to be clean and drinkable but I’m not sure if the water is tested. Elders smirk when we refuse to drink the water. Lol;

Read on to learn more about the different types of water purifiers available locally today and how they can help improve your quality of life!

Why I chose IVO

I heard about IVO at one of the famous home groups in Facebook. The pandemic has limited our capacity to get clean water by ordering from the water delivery guys so this is a very good solution. After doing the research as above, I came to the conclusion that for our needs, IVO is the best water purifier because it also acts as a water filter.. I was initially torn between the Philips Water Purifier. Both have excellent reviews online. but IVO won eventually.

IVO is a water purifier set that’s best for small spaces. It’s space saving and works a sink water filtration system. It’s very affordable and can filter up to 1500 liters per filter refill. Imagine if you’re buying water at P10 per liter, then I would have saved P15000 per IVO cartridge refill. We’ve been using it for over a year now, and so far we’re very happy with it.

How Regularly Do You Have To Clean Up a Water Purifier?

This is crucial, so please don’t forget! Each water purifier has its own cleaning schedule. Different types of purifiers require more or less frequent cleaning to maintain their effectiveness. For example, a water purifier with a carbon filter requires less maintenance because carbon particles do not stick to the surface of the purifier as much as other contaminants. On the other hand, a purifier with a ceramic filter requires frequent cleaning because accumulated minerals can inhibit the purifier’s ability to remove small particles from water. Make sure to note when you bought the water purifier and send yourself an alert when you need to clean it.
