Most people hope to live to be seventy-five years old, but John and Evie from Twin Cities, Minnesota, have been married for that long.
They met in the sixth grade, and went on their first date when they were fifteen.
“He was a naughty boy,” Evie said. “He used to throw spitballs at me. But I didn’t know that was a way of showing attention.”
To commemorate their longstanding romance, John and Evie’s granddaughter Danni made a video asking them to reveal their secrets to a happy marriage, and the couple happily complied.
